Professional Home Inspections using the latest in Infrared Technology

Home Page

Take control of your home or business, this is one of if not the biggest investment you will ever make and it should be a safe environment for you and your family.

It is a requirement of any mortgage or lending company for the prospective buyers to have a complete home inspection done prior to funding any home or business. This is where we come in.

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires a lot of work.

Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual Inspector's own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee with the added use of air quality devices and infrared technology that I will give you my very best.

This I promise you!

About Infrared Cameras

Infrared (IR) cameras are quickly becoming an indispensible tool for home inspections. The thermal images produced by an infrared camera during the inspection allows for the quick and accurate identification of defects that may not always be immediately apparent to the naked eye.

How Infrared Cameras Work

Infrared cameras translate the heat signatures of objects into color on a gradient scale, with higher temperatures as lighter colors and lower temperatures and wet areas appearing as darker colors, also known as thermal imaging and thermography. IR technology captures the light that exists just outside the visible spectrum.

Thermal images show surface variations, which is why an IR camera is such a diverse tool for commercial and residential property inspectors and can be used for a variety of applications.

Abnormally hot electrical components and connections can be viewed during an electrical inspection. Areas of unwanted moisture intrusion that may lead to leaks, mold and structural damage can be located based on the apparent temperature differences. Heat loss and air leakage in a building envelope and even areas of missing, insufficient or in-correctly installed insulation can be pinpointed quickly and accurately during the inspection and energy audit.

How can you afford not to have an IR scan?
