Empire Home Inspections Inc. was founded in February of 2002 before the last housing bubble, by Jerry Davis and he continues servicing Southern California. During this time, EHI has gone through numerous changes adding to our services with on going continued education, utilizing the newest technologies available and always striving to perform above and beyond the designated industry standards, and to always give our clients our best efforts so that an informed decision can be made by our clients.
Jerry Davis has been in the Construction and Building industry for over 35 years and continues to do so, where he is a licensed contractor in California. Shortly after EHI was opened we saw the need for Mold Testing and Mold Removal and added this service before few offered it.
EHI was one of the first in Southern California to offer "Dry Ice Blasting" for the removal of mold.
Through continuing education EHI has has added numerous certificates and classes for the improvement and advancement of our company for our clients behalf, *Green Building Practices * Water and Moisture Intrusion * The Healthier Environment Living Program * Improving our Clients Surface and Air Quality in an Indoor Environment * Thermography (infrared camera), to name a few. Our property inspections are state of the art using thermography as the newest technology to help determine the true present condition of a structure and its systems.
Our latest endeavor will include Energy Audits, LEED and RESNET rating of structures and its systems. With energy audits, using infrared cameras and understanding the structures envelope and operating systems we will be able to show our clients how they can help conserve the environment and its resources. Help them save money by recommending upgrades and lowering their utility bills. California in recent years has been the innovator offering Federal and State rebates, credits and incentives.
